i think love marriages is sometimes seen as "blind/irresponsible marriage" or "poors marriage", some people use love to manipulate their lover, and usually when you're in love you cant think objectively and you do things that you may regret in the future; so parents "who have more experience than you" try to get your feets back on the ground.
