Why are volcanoes on Mars so much larger than any on Earth?
Why are volcanoes on Mars so much larger than any on Earth?

Answers
Unlike the earth there is no plate tectonics on Mars, so the volcanic vent remains in one location and builds a single huge volcanic mountain, On Earth the plate motion prevents the formation of large volcanic mountains.
Malek is right, but there is a further answer. The surface gravity of Mars is less, allowing more lava to be released, thereby covering more real estate.
