a Grasshopper has 12 pairs of chromosomes.
a Yeast (a microscopic fungus) has 12 pairs of chromosomes.
Also many flowers and plants (Rice, Tomato plant...) has 12 pairs of chromosomes.

Yeast (s. cerevisiae) has 16 if I remember correctly from Biology last semester.
