God is the existence, there is no hell or heaven, god is the universe, the planets, us... he don't send us prophets and books... letters or emails...

are you happy now. i bet you dont feel one step closer to your answer than you did when you posted your question. from a biblical stand point, god is compromised of the trinity. the father, the son, and the holy spirit. Who all reside in heaven which is described in the bible like this:
Jn 18:36 Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world . . . this realm"
Heb 9:11,24 Heaven is not of this creation
1 Cor 15:50­51,44 Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God a. we shall all be changed...we will have a spiritual body
It is believed that people have a "spirit". a kind of internal personality and moral guide and the bible states that god is Omnipotent (in all places/ all things) it is my belief that we all exist on the physical realm and on a sort of spiritual one at the same time and our intuitive abilities allow us to "feel" god through our spirit on that plane of existence. But since religion and faith have become subjective terms you will not get any kind of a straight answer posting a question in a broad and uneducated forum.

God lives in His people. The Church are those people that God gave His Holy Spirit to. Another name for the Church is the house of God or the Tabernacle of God or the body of Christ. all are the people who have returned to God and made a covenant with Him, recieving His spirit inside themselves so that we know God and He knows us. There is no God

Wow! My heart is saddened that so many have given the answer "there is no God". I hope that while you are plundering around in the religion category that you find something that speaks to your heart and will result in the change of your prospective. Furthermore, and please do not take this in an attacking way, but if you are so sure there is no God why even be in the religion category? Even Satan believes in God and the bible states that.
To answer the posted question, God just simply IS. I'm not sure even your most well educated christian teachers could give you a cut and dry answer to this. He is not a physical being like me or you. Just as I cannot begin to fathom the physics that control this universe, my small human mind cannot come close to understanding God's love and presence. I certainly don't have many answers when it comes to the laws of physics, but I know they exist and the same goes for God. So many people think that because THEY cannot come up with any logical explanation for God and Jesus Christ that the concept/being must not exist. I would like to see the same people try to explain The String Theory or a Black Hole in all of its entirety...bet they can't but bet they wouldn't be so quick to state the phenomenons don't exist. Freedom, seek the "face" of God and you will find it...and i'm going to guess you will find him in more than one place. God Bless you all!
