In my opinion any job if you're creative and qualified enough can pay $100 an hour. That said it isn't easy. But for example, I am a teacher. I started off on the pay scale salary around $27,000 a year (approx. $15/hr) but by getting really good at my trade, going on to a well known graduate school, specializing in a very niche market with in-depth knowledge of how to combine technology for learning - I've carved out a niche that people agree is worth $100/hr. (Fluctuates depending on job but more or less.) Currently I'm going for my doctorate to sharpen my skills even further. Granted, my teaching is no longer in the institutional school setting, but if you can change and adapt your job context there are many possibilities.
The point is, you have to know what to do to be truly good at what you do. Depth is more important than breadth. Also, know how to market yourself and know the needs of those who are going to pay you (whether that is the client directly or your employer.) Meet and exceed their needs and people will be happy to pay you what you're worth, even @ $100/hr.

I am an IT Project Manager with 15 years experience and I get paid $900 per day $112.50 per hour. So, this is achievable if you are good at what you are doing. I am a single mom with one teenage son.

I must say it's all about skill, once you become so skillful in a field in which many have tried to succeed but few have, you start creating a dependency on your clientele. Top that with a professional title and you are well on your way to making $100/hour. I absolutely love my job, which is also the key to making this kind of money. Keep in mind to get to this point you will fail over and over and over yet the ones that continue fighting are the ones that attain their dreams. Believe in yourself.
