i think you should just be yourself, and not push anything. think of your best features, and why people like you. if you want to push something, push those characteristics, because those things are what make you special.
if a boy doesn't notice or like you for those things, don't ever change yourself for him, because its not meant to be. be patient, and you'll find someone that will like you for who you are, and you won't have to do anything special to prove anything to him, he'll see how great you are while you're just being you :)

although i truly believe in that dont change your self for somebody else when i was at school I had all these girls asking me what i like and dont like in a girl I had no idea what I was basically being interview for another girl, this girl i met then we fell in love appearntly she changed her self for me, all her friends would talk to her about me all the time and she wanted to meet me but knew i didnt like certain things etc she stoped smoking and doing drugs etc for me and she dressed alot darker now shes more bright but i never knew this till i was told. and i said why'd you change for me? havent you heard the saying if you have to change for someone they aren't worth being with? she said " because I had heard so much amazing/nice things about you and no girl has been able to get into your heart and I knew I wanted a guy like you, but I could never be with you with the bad habbits I had, honestly would you have dated or even taken a second look at me if i hadn't changed?" i had my mouth droped and was speachless. i said i have no idea, the reason i said that was because i love her so much for who she is now
