What is it called when it feels like your falling when you're trying to sleep
What is it called when it feels like your falling when you're trying to sleep, and why i have that falling feeling?

Answers
drowsy
the myoclonic jerk, a natural reaction in the brain
it's how it feels when your body is relaxing and your brain releases your body from his control. i think you have a falling feeling because you're body is tired and you body needs rest.
that's why they say "Fall asleep"
Evolution can help you understand the origin of this. Consider a time when we where more akin to the apes. We slept in trees and as a consequence, needed to develop a natural "sleeping state" protection from the inevitable perils of our lofty slumbers. A jerk may have just given you time to hold on tight to a neighboring branch before you fell into something a little deeper than sleep.
