it's my Motherland.
and I'm happy I live here.

not shining, not (seems to be) welcoming,
it doesn't attract with superficial beauty,
but it is much deeper, than it seems.

not so practical, not so refined,
sometimes too irrational, too idealistic,
Russian people, howewer are honest, warm,
and capable of great deeds in times of great need.

and it's really amazing to see,
as life changes to good year after year.

so sad, due to the legacy of communist regime,
people in the world grasp to their old image
of Russians as "enemies" or "barbarians" -
but the time has changed.
