When you sin, you must ask God/ Jesus to help you feel true remorse and repentance for the sin and then prepare and make a good confession to a priest immediately in case it is a mortal sin. If it is a venial sin, you may confess it to the priest during your regular monthly confession or the earliest opportunity. It requires God's grace to understand how sin hurts our God. Meditate on the Passion of Christ ( read the Holy Bible) and God will help you to overcome your weakness so that you don't commit the same sin. Do all of this with sincerity.

repent, yes.. but nothing will change much.. what was done was done.. so i think the best answer for your question is MOVE FORWARD!!

Sorry but I would disagree with the answer prior to mine. I feel that the best answer to your question is REPENT.
Proverbs 28:13 (New King James Version) 13 He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.
Mark 1:4 (New King James Version) 4 John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
You must repent when you sin. God will forgive you. There's more to actually being saved, though. Biblegateway.com is a great reference site, and I highly recommend it.
