You know that colors we see (like red, blue, green...) are not colors, and even not material thing, it's just waves (created by the mouvment of a particle).

this is a little example of the Illusion that our mind build.

Now we know that even matter is in fact an energy and that theoretically we can create mater from energy and energy from mater.

i believe the world is real, no not an illusion.
There are many different point of views on this topic but being a follower of my religion I must say i honestly belive what we see, feel, and hear are all acctually there and not just an imagination of the mind.

Actually, it's a little of both...and not such a foolish question at all when you think about it. But it's a rather involved answer and I'm not sure there's enough room for it all here...and definitely not enough time in one sitting. The so condensed it prob'ly won't make sense version is this:
The earth is real. The things on the earth are real. The world (which is actually made up of the various systems we live by...the medical system, financial system, educational system, governmental system, etc.) are all very real in appearance, but fake in substance...cheap copies (though we all fall for most of it most of the time) and totally false copies of the truth...

punch yourself in the face. It hurts? so you have just proven that the world is real congratulations!
