no it's not unlimited, but the fact that the brain forget (delete unused informations) makes it look like it is unlimited.
It is not unlimited.
I personally have a friend who has an eidedic memory. Every single impulse from her 5 senses is on perfect recall, but she has noticed that things that happened years ago are forgotten.
I found the memory isn't unlimited, my brain likes to delete memories especially unnecessary small details.
