After further thought, I felt that it was OK to write to you since it's above board. So here it is.
Jaz, I'm not surprise that the answers you have received so far are from other females that play football or would like to or just like to be handled by men or feel the need to compete would men or boys. I am surprise that you haven't received any advice from young ladies, pretty or not, that have no desire to play a sport that is as physically demanding and taxing and can be very painful at times, but prefer to associate with young ladies that are content and confident with their feminity.
You didn't state the reason for your question so I'm going to ask you to clarify or be specific as to the nature of your question. It's hard to believe the question is due to your being good at the sport, being good is a relative term. As you already stated, you are a girl and MOST DEFINITELY NOT A MAN. Since you included in your question the request for a thorough answer, then you should not be surprise of the different subjects that are involved in answering your question.
All of my answers Jaz will be based on Biblical Scripture since I am a Christian. However, I will answer your question from different perspectives, as a Father would to his beautiful daughter that he cares deeply for, as a big brother that loves his sister and has 3 sisters of his own that he thinks the world of, as a Minister of the Word of God and as a Man with a lot of experience under his belt.
If your picture is current, you seem to be an attractive young lady, maybe a teenager or early 20's; it's hard to tell these days. Since you happen to live in this 20th century and in the United States where a great deal of emphasis is being placed on Females entering into what has always been a "males domain", or sports or activities that were dominated by the female gender, it's easy to understand how a female these days become perplexed, confused and sometimes want to try things that has always been enjoyed predominantly by the male gender. Jaz, there are a lot of hidden things in the works that you know nothing of but you have asked that the answers be thorough and in depth. I believe you are ready and very capable of reading the truth about "men and women", "male and female". I'm sure you have been exposed to many ideas and views in regards to your question.
I'm not sure if you have consulted your parents or guardian on this subject. If you did, you were not satisfied with their answer or you wouldn't still be seeking an answer. It is rare to meet or cross paths with a person that is seeking guidance in any matter from their heart, no matter what is said they just want to know the right way to go. Maybe you are not asking for that reason; you may just want to know for curiosity or just to see who would actually spend time on the subject. I'm answering you from the perspective that you really want to know. Something is bothering you deeply or you wouldn't want an answer in depth, I don't believe.
AS A LOVING FATHER
Jaz, you should be very very proud and happy that you are a female and an attractive female at that from the looks of your picture. I have seen males with very feminine facial features in my life where you would have to get very close to their face to see the difference. These days you really can't tell by just looking at their face. I've seen some that truely had me fooled, long hair and all. But you said that you are a girl; and you made that very clear!
When a Father wants a girl for a daughter; he wants a GIRL for a daughter, not a boy that ACTS like a daughter but a GIRL that is a daughter. There is only ONE thing that compliments a MAN and that is a WOMAN that is TRUELY FEMALE. There is only ONE THING that compliments WOMAN that is truely FEMALE and that is a MAN in every since of the word. A MAN does not have respect for a WOMAN that acts like a man, wants to be a man, dresses like a man, looks like a man, want to compete with a man and tries to telll a man what to do. No TRUE FEMALE (Lady) will ever respect a MALE that acts like a female and allows her to boss him around, wants her to make all the decisions, wants her to take care of him and don't have enough backbone to be what he was made by God to be.
As you already know, the media has placed a great deal of emphasis on the FEMALE being equal and sometimes even greater than the MALE. I'm using the word MALE instead of MAN because every MALE is definitely not a MAN. Many of the movies and television programs depict the FEMALE in roles that dominate the MALE and is in authority over the MALE. Many movies and television programs today depict MEN as being foolish, silly, irresponsible, timid, feminine, dumb and submissive to their wives to the extinct that they are disgusting in the least.
I don't doubt whatsoever that there are many WOMEN, and young girls that are just as physically capable of competing with men and boys in the same sport and just as smart, if not smarter, than the man or men in a given subject and can probably perform the same administrative duties as the man. But just because she may have those qualifications when she "enters the male domain" she is absolutely "perverted"! That's the abosolute truth regardless of who says different. All life has it's beginning in the Garden of Eden and yours came from there too. I don't know if you believe in the Word of God or even have any interest in it. But as a loving Father that has not been seduced and persuaded by todays trends that society is dictating and who is all MALE, a MAN, and the "head of his home" that loves your mother in his heart he definitely would not want you on any field playing football anywhere anytime nor anyplace. He wants you to remain the daughter that he so desired to see, a daughter that can only bring joy to his heart, the kind of joy that a boy know nothing of. Not that he would love you more than his son, no not at all. A boy can never take the place of a girl and a girl can never take the place of a boy.
He longs for you to one day meet a handsome your man that will love you deeply as a young lady. Only as a young lady will you be able to marry a young man in the true sense of being a man. You may get along with any boy but you want have the same respect for anything less than a man. A man will take care of you, protect you, cherish you and do his best to make you happy. In this day and time these things are of very little value.
Your peers may be leaning towards todays trend but something deep inside of you wants to come out and be the lady you are meant to be. You may have to make new friends to do so but you'll only be happy and can only find happiness in being what the Lord made you to be.....a girl, a young lady that looks like a lady, dresses like a lady, talk like a lady and lives like a lady should live. It is very difficult for a Father to be the kind of Father a daughter needs when she insist on being and remaining in a "boys domain", hard, authoritative, tough, masculine, wearing boys cloths and hanging out with boys. He can only think that his daughter wants to be a boy or that she does not feel secure being a girl or she lack confidence in herself. These things can't be your situation because you probably have guys falling at your feet. I'm sure the boys would probably want you to join the team, a few of them, but not the real ones that see you as a lady to be protected and taken cared of. Those boys just want an excuse to fondle you and I'm sure you know what I mean. Some of the others would probably want to teach you a lesson and try to hurt to a degree that would convince you to stay in your place.
When you began to feed on information that encourages you to do what nature plainly tells you not to do, that information remains inside of you. It becomes your reference for future activities. The more you listen to it, the more you observe it for entertainment, the more you read about it and the more you are in its environment it soon becomes your dominant thought patterns. Once the subject matter becomes your dominant thought patterns it begins to control your actions that would conform to those thoughts.
Your actions then become the norm for your life which begin to control you. And now you are the slave to the new life style and can't remember how it all started in the first place.
I don't know if you have ever heard of the television program called "I Love Lucy". If you haven't, it is the first television program that showed the wife talking back to her husband in a disrespectful way and the husband losing respect and control of the atmosphere. She continued to be disrespectful and he continued to allow it and seemingly didn't know how to stop it. Soon, there were other television programs that copied the scenario and before you knew what was happing the wife was telling the husband what to do and the roles were completely reversed. Now, the children are talking back to their parents and the parents are afraid of their children. That's because it started years ago and has infected the entire country.
AS A LOVING BROTHER
Jaz, I have three sisters that are older than me. We are a year apart. My oldest sister was born in June. The next one was born in August, the next one was born in September and I was born in October. As you can see, my oldest sister is the oddball; she was out-of-sync with the rest of us…hahahaha. My sisters are very pretty; the 2 oldest and next down were Valadictorian and Salutatorian 2 years in a row. They were also very smart. Playing football or any man’s sport was out of the question for them. The sister next to the oldest did however play tennis. She was pretty good at it. I was always very protective of my sisters growing up and still am. They were truly ladies. Don’t play football Jaz; I can understand if you played it with your brothers when you were a little girl but even then it shouldn’t have been, definitely not now.
AS A DEVOTED MINISTER OF THE WORD OF GOD
Jaz, I repeat, you are a lovely young lady and the Lord made you that way. He didn't make any mistakes in bringing you into the world as a girl. Did you know that He knew you before the foundation of the world. He knew your great, great, great grandmother and father would be. He knew what you would like and the questions you were going to ask. He knew what color you would like. He knew how strong the world and your peers would pull on you to do things contrary to His Word. He knew you would want to know the truth about life. And He knew that I'd be answering your request today.
The Lord never made a mistake; it's impossible for Him to make a mistake. He knows the ending from the beginning. He knows how everything will end before it ever starts. He's never confused about issues. He never changes His mind about His Word. like I said before, I don't know if you have any interest at all in religion or the Bible. But I just love to write about it, talk about it, read about it and listen to it; it's my life.
If you ever want to know the why of anything; why there is pain, suffering, misery, heartaches, death, fears, doubts, diseases, storms, hatred, burdens and jealously in the world all you have to do is start at the beginning. And there is only one book in print that has the accurate account of what took place at the beginning; that's the Bible. The King James version being the most accurate. I'm going to give you a few little nuggets that's off the subject just because I'm inspired and rarely get this opportunity to SHARE WITH AN OPEN HEART AND MIND. Did you know that God is a MAN! and that He does exist? Did you know that He had attributes before He ever created anything. Just as you have attributes in you; He has always had them in Him. He had attributes to be:
1. A Father 2. A Savior 3. A Healer 4. A King 5. A Judge 6. A Deliver 7. A Burden Bearer 8. A Creator 9. A Counselor 10. A Mediator 11. A Warrior 12. A Shephard.....and many more.
All these attributes were desires in Him that He wanted to manifest. Just like you may want to be a teacher, mother, singer, or whatever. It is impossible to desire a thing that does not exist. It is impossible to want a thing that cannot be had. It is impossible to have a craving that can't be satisfied. The only reason you have those desires proves that they exist.
God could not manifest the attribute of a creator until He created something. Then He became a Creator. He could not manifest His attribute of A Savior if there were no one to save. He could not manifest the attribute of being a healer if no one ever got sick. You see what I mean. What joy is there in being so Mighty and Powerful if you can't share it those whom you love. If you are able to love, surely God has feelings also. The only reason you are who you are and the way you are is because He deeply desired to fellowship you, to talk with you, to see you and to watch over you. He wants you to stay just the way you are AND IN THE PLACE HE PLACED YOU.......A LADY. If you are having masculine tendencies, a lot of it is because of the environment you keep, the material you read, the movies and television programs you watch. it’s an evil enticing fornicating spirit that’s been following you. These spirits are real and they are powerful whether you believe that or not it is true. If you are not strong enough to resist the tendency, you need serious counseling by a Godly man, a loving Father and sweet Mother and most important the Lord Jesus Himself.
Did you know that GOD loved Adam. The first human being he created. Adam was just like Him. He was perfect in every way. He was GOD of the earth (Genesis 2:15). God was GOD of the Universe. The best thing that God could give His Son was a Wife, Eve. She was the most beautiful female of all His creations, though she herself was not created. She was taken from Adam's side and made into a Woman. She was vastly different from all of the other females that He created. She came out of Adam. The other females came from nowhere. She came out of a created being, a by-product of a creation. And since she came out of Adam as a "HELPMATE" to HELP Adam (Gen 2:18) she was to be his wife and they were to cling to each other as ONE though they were 2 individuals (Gen. 2:21-24). Adam was FIRST Created. It wasn't good for Adam to be alone so God gave him a wife to cherish. I am not going to go into detail because it would be too lengthy; I'm just going to hit the highlights.
You are getting quite a lesson young lady. I hope you haven't fallen asleep yet. You may want to take a break, if you haven't yet. If the Lord had created Eve like He did Adam, it would have been impossible for Eve to be "DECIEVED AND BECOME SEDUCED" by the Serpent. Someone HAD TO FALL in order to bring sin into the world in order for GOD to manifest all of His attributes. Satan could not tempt Adam to sin. He was God in the Earth; he had power over the Serpent and over every living creature in the earth, but Eve did not this power. I hope you understand so far. Practically everything in the world has been perverted from its original purpose because man put his hand to it. Practically every position in the home has become perverted because of lack of care, teaching and a solid moral foundation.
