It means he likes you a little but mostly he doesn't have a life and is bored. I would tell him to only call me twice a week and see if he gets angry or depressed. Either response says he has unhealthy emotional issues and should be avoided. He will try to control your time if you start giving him that much attention. I know it happened to me.
