What I do is get a cotton ball and soak it in vinegar, then I place the cotton ball over the scab, tape it down, then in about an hour I take it off and the scab is dried up and is ready to be removed. Take clean tweasers and work the scab off, don"t use your fingers because under your fingernails is a lot of bacteria and you don't want to get it into the soar that the scab covered.
