How much land can you inherit before having to pay gift taxes on it?
My father wants to deed some land to me, but I don't want to have to pay huge inheritance taxes?  Is there a limit on the amount of land you can receive for inheritance without paying gift or inheritance tax?

Answers
You can have only for $10,000 (or 12k i'm not sure) per year tax-free.
you should seek professional advice.
Inheritance tax and luuxury tax are included in same view. Check with your attorney or your state tax bard!
