I dont have a gun loaded or not, firearms must be banned even in the army.

I see no point in having a firearm in the house. Experts tell you to have it unloaded and have the ammo and gun separated so kids can't play with it. Good idea. (1) You have the gun and ammo apart. Your 6-year old decides to play with it. He's safe. Someone breaks in at night. They're not going to wait for you to go get the ammo and load the gun. (2) You have the gun loaded. Your 6-year old decides to play with it.
Both ways...bad idea.
We have 2 dogs in our house. If someone breaks in, we don't have to load the dogs.

I don't have one, because here in Portugal there are very strict laws about it, and it's not usual to one have guns...
However I would love to have one :D And really think I can "handle" it in a way that no one would get hurt.
