I have the opportunity of visiting a local cyber café after office hour during a sunny weekend. And I discovered that many of the patrons in the cyber café does not have any iota of what it takes to make money on the internet.

When they are not chatting with unseen friends, some are busy sending mails to relations for one reasons or the other. The most pathetic of scene is a university graduate of five years who still came to café, browsing employment web sites.

I took my time to educate the jobless guy that there are lot of money to be made on the internet. I took him through a lot of job freelancers sites like, getacoder, elance, getfreelance etc. and he was convinced beyond reasonable doubt that there are lots of money to be made on the internet.

The requirements to set the ball rolling as a job freelance or a work at home worker is a computer with the necessary word processing programs, spreadsheets packages and above all a fast internet connection.

The next thing is to register in each of the sites and it is free, but some will require a small fee paid monthly or annually to keep the ball rolling. Personal experience has shown me that work at home opportunities are convenient ways to exploit skills and earn a reasonable amount with a peace of mind.
