Work and its importance
“Idles man’s mind is a devils work shop” is a well know saying. Work is man’s greatest blessing. It does not let the mind wonder or become prey to temptations. For the weakest mind it’s a double blessing.

Anything unused or occupied begins to deteriorate. The logic applies equally to man and machine. Vast multitudes of people are saved form useless, dissipated lives by being obliged to work.

It makes difference as to how we look at work. Happiness lies in how we treat work as delight or drudgery. The quality of work is of great importance. It’s like a personal trademark.

The reason for failure in life can be attributed to the attitude which men and women have for their work. Work is solely looked upon as a means of earning; instead it can be seen as an opportunity for growth both individually and professionally.

Excellence is not the reward for the person but is a reward for his work or labor. The satisfaction in a job in the outlook-the way people look upon themselves in relation to their job.

Place special emphasis upon the quality of your work. When the chief aim of your daily life is to produce intrinsically the best, and merely the outwardly attractive, you can then afford to disregard the approval and praise of men. The inner consciousness of work worthily attempted and well done is its own reward. Let your thought be of quality, not quantity. To do good work you must be interested in it, and be interested in it you must like it. All the master builders have been earnest, intense, conscientious workers. You can be one these men of the world, in the degree that you put quality into your daily work, seeking, always for results rather than approbation.

The greatest satisfaction you can obtain from life is your pleasure in producing, in your own individual way.
