Starting from the Stone Age, technology after going through many phases is now evolved to nano technology. In simple meanings, nano age is today’s age in which the distance between the transistors of a chip has now in 10^-9 meters. Computers use these chips in a huge numbers. So these chips in technical languages are integral parts of a computer and due to their complex structure these are called integrated circuits or IC’s.

So computers are getting better and better. But due to huge competition, new things are introduced in the name of technology. Among these things webcam stands at top today. Though Webcams are not included in the new technology but still they are included in the list of the things which have great margin for improvement.

Thus I did a small survey over the internet about which is the best webcam to buy. I considered three things in my mind in making the list below. 1st is the performance. 2nd is the price. 3rd includes both the buyer satisfaction and also the most sold.

Starting from the best, I would go towards the ordinary one. So Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 has topped my list of webcams. It is considered to be the webcam with outstanding optics, user-friendly software and excellent audio. Its price is around $80. It is a bit expensive than the other cams that are available in market but it is worth the expense. So if you are not compromising on quality just go for it.

Philips SPC1300NC, Creative Live Cam Optia Pro ,Microsoft Life Cam VX-7000 and Creative Live Cam Optia AF are respectively stands 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th in my favorite webcams. But here I want to especially mention the webcam that has being produced by Microsoft.

Since we all are familiar with the name of Microsoft, it is quite obvious to mention their product because it is the cheapest of them all and also provides good results. But the cams like Logitech beat it with high resolution pictures and videos since they have greater experience than Microsoft in producing webcams.
