It is essential for any business man or a corporate to follow the ethics in the business. Actually what is ethics? It is all about what we should do and what we should not do. The ethics is to be reasonable, well founded, sticking on to moral beliefs and conducts, living up to the standards of life. It also reference to what humans must do in terms of rights, benefits to society, specific virtues etc. It is more or less equal to the morality and common sense. So it is clear for us what ethics is and we can comprehend that it is essential for every one of us to be considered as human beings.

      The individual business man and other business organizations have a similar purpose in their minds. It is to earn lots of profits through their business. But the consumers feel that the companies must supply best quality products, provide the best service, offer the reasonable prices and so on. These are the basic ethics expected by the consumers. But when the standard of goods is not unto the mark, the kind of service is not humble and the price fixed is not rational, then the business people are said to be unethical. So the ethical business people are appreciated by the consumers and their target of profits is sure to hit the bull’s eye.

      As a business executive, one must be very much concerned about the working place, the employees, and the products and so on. He must proceed in a positive way to uplift its image. Caring for the employees and their welfare is a part of professional ethics of a business executive. He must also pay the taxes properly, run the firm lawfully, pay the employees what they deserve etc.

      Ethics in business always have positive effects like increase in the productivity, gaining the trust and confidence of customers and employees, dynamically working as a team with full of co operation and co ordination, improvement in the way of communicating with the consumers as well as the employees etc.

      For instance, most of the people who are involved in the real estate business do not follow any ethics. They try to suppress and apply cunning tricks on the others. Thus there will be lot of communication gap between the buyer and seller. It ultimately affects the business to a great extent.
