Surviving “"you’'re fired"” in the recession
You’ve been loyal to the company for years. You have put aside family; your health, your personal life, sleep, and a whole lot more. Guess what? When the budget is being cut, none of this matters. When the company has layoffs, they do not start at the top where people make salaries measured in K’s and they have multiple cars and homes; they start lower. So they ask you into the office, sit you down, and give you THE NEWS. So how do you survive the shock, the shame, and, most importantly, the immediate financial crunch?
