Problems of pay per click
Pay per clicks had been very popular when they had initially come in and the prices per click were much less, about ten cents or something like that. After that, the scenario changed, pay pr clicks became horrible and were very highly priced. I mean if you were to pay a dollar for every click that anyone makes to your site, what money are you left behind with as profit? Surely, a very minimal amount and that if at all you manage to make some sales out of these clicks. So, it is a really problematic field and I personally believe that trying to understand it is way too complicated to penetrate our thick skulls.

Here we will basically discuss the various problems of pay per click due to which it is better never to opt for it.

Firstly, when you have just joined some search engine and have applied for the pay per click, for the first few months you will have to make the payment before the month starts. This is problematic and very inconvenient for someone who has just started out as an internet marketer. Now, it is problematic because at this stage you do not even know whether you will be able to make any sales or not and paying one dollar per click is too much. Also, you will have to pay upfront as much as fifty dollars when you don’t even know whether you will make it to fifty clicks or not. So it is really quite inconvenient.

Secondly, there is no filtering offered by the search engines and even if you would like to filter the traffic you cannot. Say for example you would want people of only a particular nation or language speaking to get access or click to your site. But this cannot happen because the search engines will not allow this to happen. Your advertisement will be seen by all and clicked by all even if you do mention categorically what type of customers you are looking for. Sometimes it so happens that you are a company based in England and are offering services to the English people only. Now, someone, say from the US places an order and surely you cannot deliver there. So you are suffering a loss of one dollar just because this person from the States has clicked on your ad; useless loss of money.

Thirdly, not all search engines have the same set up for pay per click. And as you have already heard me saying, it is a difficult business to understand pay per click. So imagine how difficult would it be if you were to try and understand the working system that each of the search engines use! And of course, Google would use one Yahoo would use another and so on and so forth. Therefore it is a complete waste of time and energy.

Added with these problems are also the issues of click fraud and click prices which fluctuate almost every day. Therefore pay per click is only just a waste of your money and nothing else.
