We usually say “he is having an attractive personality”,” her dressing sense matches her personality” and many more. So the question is what personality is? “Personality has come from the Latin word named “Persona”. We all have different and individual personality.”Persona” means a Mask. We all wear different masks. Different masks carry different personality and overall different image. But we all know that we all like to wear masks as we want to hide our own emotions, our own feelings from others. Sometimes we do  not recognize our own face when we stand in front of the mirror and see our face on it.

Personality gives an overall image to a character. We all are on the same stage, i.e., the Earth. We all are playing different and individual characters on the stage. We all are wearing different masks so it is difficult to recognize the original character rather than the  character which is being played by the drama player on the stage. We are not the one who is operating or guiding our own character but it is our society itself who is guiding and controlling the characters who are performing on the stage. If the performance is not up to the mark then we will be removed from the drama group and if it is up to the mark then we will be continuing the same drama hour after hour.

As we are talking about the social drama so let it be clear that the drama is also created by the society in which we live, we are not the creator here. We cannot choose what drama we would perform and what drama we would not. But it should be according to the society and the surroundings, consequences all of which play an important role in our life. We have to play the drama even if our mind does not accept it.

So there is a clear distinction between our mind and the mask that we wear. Mind is the inner thing which is hidden and what remains in us only. A very few persons do the act according to the mind .But on the contrary, mask is the outer concept. It is the thing which others can see. So according to our social concept our mask should be polished, acceptable and sophisticated and must carry a good image in front of others even if our mind does not fulfill all the categories.

So it is important for all of us not to be driven by only our society and the surroundings but also consider the mind as our mind knows us better than anybody else in this Earth. So we should choose to wear the masks according to the mind and the consequences both.

Only then the social drama will be definitely a big hit.
