Nutrition basically refers to a process, in which we take in food, digest it and this food help us in growth and nourishment.

As every building has a foundation, must be strong, like wise the foundation of our body is healthy nutrition. It has been noted that people, who do not take healthy food get ill very soon. They suddenly get attacked by germs. The basic reason for it is that, due to bad nutrition or insufficient take in of food, their immune or defense system does not work properly and it cannot fight against micro-organisms.

The major problem with us is that we are destroying our health by taking unhygienic food from markets and usually avoid to take health, home made food.

As for as, advantages of nutrition is concern, it provides energy to our body. We can work fast with the help of quality food. It keeps our body cells and tissues alive and prevents them from death. It prevents our body from germs attack. During illness, a patient must require food for recovering. Our body wastes can remove from our body, when we take in food. Therefore, we need healthy nutrition in any case.

Generally, a person must eat everything, like vegetables, meat, milk, eggs. Because it has proved that a consumption of balance food, help in slowing down the digestion process, which in turn, help in maintaining the process of mitosis or cell division, cell maintenance and regulation of blood, sugar level.

There are basically, seven major nutrients which perform different functions. These include; proteins, fats, carbohydrates, fibers, minerals and water. Carbohydrates may use as a fuel and they help in metabolism.
Fibres contain many necessary components. It controls the muscle contraction in our digestive track. Proteins are the basis of many structures, like hair, skin and muscles. It acts as enzymes and hormones, which regulates all body processes. Water is necessary for life. Minerals and fats are also requiring for many functions.

To keep our body alive and to work properly, every person needs a balanced and sufficient nutrition.
