10) ‘Maison l'Amitie’, the former possession of Abe Gosman was acquired by Donald Trump.  Now the house is worth $125 million.  The mansion has 15 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms and the property is located on 8000 square feet.  The gigantic fountain on the driveway is another main attraction.

9) “The Manor”, belonged to the famous TV producer, Aaron Spelling before it was sold for a whopping $130 million.  Located on over 60,000 square feet, the house has over 120 rooms and spans on the prime real estate of the Los Angeles area.

8) Prince Bandar owned the Hala Ranch, located in Aspen has 15 bedrooms and 27 bathrooms and is situated over 55,000 square feet of property.  The house comes with all the luxuries one can ask for, including stables, a pool, ski trails, private tennis court and even a sewage treatment plant.  The property was put in the market in 2006 and the prince was asking for a price of $135 million.

7) Bran Castle, better known as Dracula’s Castle is situated in the mountains of Romania.  The property is set on 20 acres of mountaintop.  The current owner is asking for a price of $140 million. 

6) Tim Blixseth, renowned real estate mogul is building a $155 million house, called The Pinnacle.  The house includes heated floors and driveways, and has ten bedrooms.

5) The Victorian Villa, situated in London, was sold for $161 million to Elene Franchuk, a Ukranian businesswoman.  The mansion goes with five stories, and has built inside it a swimming pool, gym and sauna.

4) William Randolph Hearst’s Mansion, located in Beverly Hills, in on the market with a price tag of $165 million.  The mansion contains 29 rooms, a disco and a movie theater.  It was used for filming scenes in the famous movie, ‘The Godfather’.

3) The Updown Court is dubbed as the most important private residence to be built after the 19th century.  Stretched over 40,000 square feet, this house comes with 24-carat gold-leaf floors, stretching across its 23 bedrooms.  It has a value of 85 million pounds.

2) Second place goes to The Penthouses in One Hyde Park, London; but these mansions are only in the process of being built.  The Penthouses will carry a price tag of more than $200 million.

1) Mukesh Ambani, CEO of Reliance India group is building his $1 billion home in Mumbai, India.  It will be named Antilla.  The 27-storey tower will be mostly of glass, with a height of 570 feet.  Its garage will hold more than 150 cars.
