Must not try. Your cat will not like your trick to impress. In fact, the more efforts you will make to impress, the more your cat will remain unimpressed. So get your facts straight and act like a normal person.

Make someone try. This is the right way of doing it and this trick always works. You must ask someone else to try impressing your cat. The cat will remain unimpressed by that other person even if it is the type of self-respecting cat. Your cat will start doing favors for you as you are merely trying anything and behaving normally. Make the person teach with toys, food or anything else you like. Soon instead of that person you will be the one playing with the cat.

Ignore the dog. Ignore all the other pets including dog and even other people. Do not do activities of your interest infront of the cat at all. Do not play video games, watch television or talk on the phone. Cats usually can’t understand how you can ignore them in presence of other people or things. They will make efforts to find out more about you and always try to stay with you. A twinge of interest shown to them by you will make them yours forever.

Always do your best. Treat your cat just like you would want to get treated if you were a pet. Give your cat fresh food when the food gets old. Do the best you can to make your cat feel wonderful. It is nothing less than an investment you are making on your cat.

Pay attention to your cat than anyone else. Pay more attention to your pet rather than just a significant other. Your cat would not like all the drama and romantic affairs with your girlfriend which you ignore your cat for.
