Same as a normal racing car, solar car will have small room for the driver with some separate sections designed for the navigator. These cars will have all the features that a normal car possesses. Similar features here mean features like brake, accelerator, rear view mirrors and ventilation system. In race cars camera facility and radio which helps to communicate with the supporting crew is present.

Batteries:

    The batteries present in the solar car stores the energy generated by the photovoltaic cells. There are a different varieties of batteries used for this car. The most common batteries that are used are nickel-cadmium, lead-acid, nickel-metal, lithium polymer, lithium-ion batteries and hydride batteries. In most of the solar cars there will be a gauge that indicates the storage charge level in the batteries.
