At the end of the day, the most worn-out part of the body is most probably the feet. With all the activities we have in a single day, we truly owe our feet a lot. So instead of spending hours getting our hair done, applying diamond peel on our faces, or putting on lotion, we should also spend some time making our feet happy.
A number one must do for your feet is choosing and wearing the right shoes for you; shoes that look good and feel good (or a little less painful). For professionals, especially women, who spend the day on heels, make sure you give your feet a break and slip into a more comfortable pair of sandals when heels aren't really necessary. To make them feel better, try rub your feet with a soda can or tennis ball. This soothes and relaxes your feet very well. At night before you go to bed and take a good rest, apply petroleum jelly on your feet and then cover them with socks for a softer and sleeker feet in the morning. Lotion may also help, however do not apply lotion in between your toes. This may lead further to fungal diseases and infections.
Moreover, to get that fresh and relaxed feet all happy and whimsy, you may want to try getting a foot spa every once in a while. Else if your running tight on your budget, you can do a homemade foot soak instead. There are a lot of articles about making a homemade foot soak and other homemade remedies which you can find on the internet and may want to check out.
