Many of us have come across the word ‘SUSHI’, what is it exactly? Well sushi is a delicacy which originated in Japan, it is one of the most popular, tasty and enticing dishes of all time. It is also quite attractive in presentation and it is also the people’s choice because it contains nutritious and healthy ingredients. You can cook and serve the dish on special occasion but first you should know which kind of sushi you are planning to make to the occasion deliciously delicious
The first kind of sushi is Maki Roll. For making this dish, you need two seaweed sheets, a cup of cooked rice and five full size fish fillets as the key ingredients. The first step is to spread the sheets on a flat plat or slab then filling or spreading the rice on this sheet. Leave some space at the corner of the sheet. Top the rice along with fish fillets. If you wish to make the dish tastier you can garnish it with 10 slice of cucumber or carrot. Now roll the sheets and put some pressure while rolling to close properly the gap among ingredients. After doing this cut it into pieces.
The dish is ready to be served hot. Next dish which could be made is Dragon Roll, as the name might suggest it involves no dragon. The basic ingredients are 2 cups of rice, 2-3 nori sheets, and 1/2 cup of chopped fishes. You can also use avocado, 50 grams of eel. Add some water in the tempura and mix. Make the mixture thick as sauce. Dip each portion of shrimp in this sauce. Put the pan on medium heat. Add 3 cups of oil into the pan. Cook for 30 seconds.
The shrimps should be deep fried. Peel the avocado, put the cooked rice on the sheets. Add slice of eel on the shrimps. Also you can spread some Tobiko on the dish. Now cut the roll inn a shape of a dragon. The dish is ready to be served hot with extra toppings.
Sushi could be more enticing if it is served along with wine, to make your meal a perfect one. So enjoy your dish.
