It is a very indirect method of promoting your site but it is very powerful and if you can concentrate really well on it and make it work then you will surely be very successful. Well the very first thing that you have to do is make an offer to these people you want in your list. Make them an offer which is unrefusable and which they will accept as the first reading and hearing. If you can get this done then much of your work is done. For making the offer attractive you can try giving them something for free, like a free ebook or some tips service for free. Now, since you are offering something that is free and something that they do not have to pay for, they will accept and agree. But beware. There are many like you out there who are trying to entice people to join their lists therefore be careful about making your offer unique and one in a million. So, after you make this offer let us presume that the selected people have accepted it. Now what next?

Well, this next step is a bit tricky because most people mix it up and create trouble for themselves which leads to people opting out from your lists. Now you would not want that to happen so what would you do? Well, most people, as soon they have people on heir lists, try selling their products to them. But you will not do that and instead of selling them products you will give them various types of information depending on what their site is on and what they are interested in. after giving them such information for sometime you will find that they will trust you blindly and now you can easily make them move to your page and get them to sign in your list. True that it will take sometime to build such lists but once built you can reap the harvests just sitting and doing nothing.
