Aerobic exercises keep the heart healthy
    The term ‘aerobic’ means with oxygen. This term proves that aerobic exercises can supply the required oxygen to the internal organs of our body. The oxygenated blood supply is a must to all the internal organs like heart, brain, lungs, kidney, liver etc to function properly. Hence the need for physical exercise has emerged which helps in the maximum amount of energy release and oxygen to the body thus keeping it in a proper working condition.

Health benefits of aerobic exercises:

     If we proceed with aerobic exercises regularly they help us to prevent the occurrence of many diseases like osteoporosis, cancer, depression, diabetes, cardio vascular diseases, obesity and so on. Due to the aerobic exercises, the heart gets stronger and pumps more blood with each beat. The efficiency of the heart’s functioning increases to its maximum. The endurance, stamina and strength of the body increases and you are unlikely to fall sick if you practice aerobic exercises.

     Due to the regular aerobic exercises, the mitochondria inside our muscle cells increase in number and their performance rate also gets accentuated. The mitochondria are said to be the powerhouses of the muscle cells. They use up the oxygen to burn the fat and carbohydrates and promotes our rate of working capacity. With the regular routine of aerobic exercises, it is believed that the number of these mitochondria increase miraculously by 50%.

     Some more recognized benefits of aerobic exercises are’ they strengthen our muscles of the lungs and facilitate the free flow of air in and out while exhaling and inhaling. The muscles are toned well throughout the body and they look healthy and we will never suffer from muscle cramps or muscle pulls etc. These aerobic exercises improve the blood circulation in the body and reduce the blood pressure. The number of red blood cells is increased thus increasing the rate of transportation of oxygen.

Types of aerobic exercises:

     The usual physical exercises like walking, running, jogging, swimming etc are considered as the aerobics exercises. The jumping rope can be one of the best aerobic exercises which keep us hale and healthy. The aerobic dance, tennis singles can achieve excellent effects on the body and keep the body fit and firm.
